The Renovate Ballet Trainee Division is an exclusive group of pre-professional dancers that are hand picked by audition or invitation only by the Artistic Directors. Dancers are selected based on technique level, professional potential, and artistry and performance.

REQUIREMENTS

• All trainees must be willing and able to dance up to 35 hours a week

• Age Requirement: 17 years and older, or a high school graduate

• Must be willing to learn and execute a large amount of choreography and pointe work

• Commitment: In-coming trainees begin in July at our SDI and conclude the following May. Returning trainees begin in June and conclude the following May.

• All trainees must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be willing to share their faith.

AUDITION PROCESS

• Once your application form and application fee is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions regarding your video submission and packet information.

• Once we receive your completed audition packet, you will be notified whether of not you will be invited to an in-person audition in Augusta, GA.

PROGRAM INCLUDES

• Professional dance training from qualified, professional dancers and instructors.

• Training in ballet technique, pointe technique, contemporary, jazz, PBT, and original choreography.

• Discipleship training for the purpose of being sent out to minister both orally and artistically.

• ​Faith-based, theatrical and heart-felt performances for the purpose of encouraging audiences and sharing the gospel.

• Trains and rehearses separately as well as with the professional company.

• Will perform both locally as well as with the company artists.
